We are open for urgent and essential eyecare
As of 29th June, we are open for urgent and essential eyecare. At this time Optometrists in Scotland are not allowed to perform routine eye examinations. If you are experiencing any issues with your eyes, please call us on 01592 751460 and we will assess the best course of action to take.
Currently we are operating under a locked-door, appointment only policy to allow us to limit the number of people within the practice. If we decide that we need you to come in and see us, we will ask you to wear a face mask. If you do not have one, we can provide one for you. We will also be wearing the appropiate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to keep you safe.
We are still here for you though – please don’t be stuck.
Opticians are still the first port of call for eye emergencies and we aim to keep it this way, particularly during these difficult times. The NHS is under a lot of a strain so please help them to help you by calling us with any ocular emergencies.
If you have broken your glasses, lost your glasses, or lost, damaged or run out of contact lenses, please call us and we will advise you of what to do.
If you are concerned that you or a member of your family may have contracted Coronavirus, or if you are in need of some advice, please visit NHS inform before you call NHS24. Please click the link below to help determine whether you need to contact them:
If you or anyone in your household have a new or continous cough, a high temperature or a loss of your sense of taste or smell, please call us and do not come into the practice.
As always, look after yourselves, look after each other.
From our family to yours, stay safe.
